Why I Coach Boxing

Boxing for me is more than throwing punches. It’s about building a fighter’s mind and showing up, even on the tough days. Koi tumhe tab tak nahi hara sakta, jab tak tum khud se na haar jao (No one can defeat you until you lose to yourself). That’s the attitude I bring to every session.

Starting Out? Let’s Nail the Basics

I’m big on fundamentals. You’ll see us working on stance, balance, and how to move like a boxer. We use simple tricks, like weight plates under your foot, so you learn how to generate real power. Footwork is a huge deal - agility ladders, floor markings, you’ll be moving all directions. You’ll learn each punch, focusing on power from your feet and hips, not just your arms. We use medicine balls and practical drills to make it stick.

For Those Already Boxing

Once you’ve got your basics down, we dive into punch combination training and defensive boxing techniques. I’ll help you see the fight like a chess match - reading your opponent, mixing up complex combos, and learning how defense opens up new attack chances. Counter-attacks, head movement, parrying, all get covered.

Full Fighter Conditioning

You won’t just learn technique. We do pad work, sparring, strength drills, and reflex training for boxers (jab sticks, tennis balls - the works). Expect explosive workouts and high intensity drills so you last every round.

Competition Prep

If you want to step into the ring, I bring my experience as a national player and head coach. We go beyond physical training - strategy, mental strength, and ring craft. I’ve coached pros, I know what it takes. Let’s chase your fight dreams, together.

My Story

Hey, I’m Tejas. Used to be a national boxing champ, had my share of wins and losses (more wins, ha!). Then injury knocked me out of the ring, docs said maybe no walking ever. But here I am, coaching fighters, Head Coach at Indian Boxing Council, Mumbai. I’m referee too sometimes. My real power? Lord Hanuman, always with me. I’m not fighting now, but I’m making sure my students punch above their weight and make India proud.

Custom Training: Amateur or Pro - Amateur means speed and points, pro means endurance and power. I train for your goals.

Warm ups & Injury Prevention - I warm up with you, build trust, reduce injury risk. Coaching’s got soul, not just sweat.
