Yoga is a constant process of discovery. I treat every mat session as an opportunity to refine my alignment, explore creative shapes, and deepen my understanding of what the body can do.

Exploring a new variation. This abstract shape is a creative expression of balance and form. Photography can capture the artistic side of the yoga practice.

Keep trying new poses. This is a variation of Dwi Pada Koundinyasana, an advanced arm balance that requires a lot of strength and a bit of courage to attempt.

It looks like I did this better than I thought. It's a twisting, balancing pose that challenges the whole body. Sometimes you surprise yourself with what you can do.

About My Personal Practice

Most people think advanced poses are just about raw strength, but that is rarely the case. When I practice complex transitions like Dwi Pada Koundinyasana, I focus on how my breath controls the movement rather than muscle alone. If you struggle to hold a balance, it is usually because you are fighting gravity instead of working with it.

My personal practice is less about perfecting a specific look and more about finding stillness in motion. It is where I test new variations and reconnect with the basics, remembering that even after nine years, the journey remains the same: we try, we fail, and we fail better. This is the mindset I bring to every 1-on-1 session in Bengaluru.

Why Practice Matters

When you see these shapes, understand that they are the result of consistent, daily effort. I do not practice to show off. I practice because it creates a quiet space where nothing owns me, as the Gita suggests. If you are looking to build a sustainable yoga practice, you need to stop chasing 'Instagram-perfect' results and start focusing on your internal alignment.

Technical Breakdown

Many students ask how to move into arm balances without injury. It starts with learning to engage your core and understanding your wrist mechanics. During our private sessions, we break these down using props, chairs, or wall support. Whether you are recovering from a stiff neck or training for a handstand, we adjust the sequence to fit your current energy levels.

Personalised Guidance

I offer 1-on-1 coaching for those who want more than a generic class. We assess your posture, discuss your goals—be it flexibility or strength—and design a routine you can actually stick to. I am available for both online sessions and in-person visits across Bengaluru. Let us work together to find your balance.

I have spent nine years on the mat, and I still find the same joy in balancing today as I did when I started. My focus is helping you move past the idea of perfect poses to find what actually feels right for your body.
