The Art of Detail & Materiality in Architecture

We believe the soul of a home hides in the details. From the texture of laterite stone to the joinery of a staircase, we craft spaces that feel honest and deeply connected to their environment.

The staircase at Summer Haus is the metaphorical spine of the home, its elegant curve and marble detailing creating a sense of rhythm as it connects the public and private floors. The custom brass and wood railing is a testament to our focus on bespoke craftsmanship.

The bathroom in Apartment 1005 is a study in texture and color. We used handmade green ceramic tiles to create a rich, vibrant shower enclosure, contrasted with a fluted glass door that plays with light and transparency.

About this collection

When we design, we look at the meeting points. Think of where a reclaimed teak door meets marble trim or how light hits a fluted glass door. It is in these quiet junctions that a house stops feeling like a construction site and starts feeling like a home. We do not just select materials; we understand how they age, how they catch light, and how they define your daily rhythm.

Architecture is often discussed in terms of grand volume, but we find the most joy in the granular. Our work is a study in material intersections. Whether it is the rhythmic curve of a marble staircase at Summer Haus or the vibrant, handmade green ceramic tiles in Apartment 1005, every element serves a purpose beyond aesthetics.

We prioritize indigenous materials like basalt, timber, and laterite, ensuring they are not just surface treatments but foundational parts of the home. In our studio, we spend time testing how a specific finish on reclaimed teak reacts to natural light or how marble trim meets a tiled wall. This obsession with the small stuff prevents our designs from feeling forced.

When you work with us, you are part of this process. We translate your story into tactile choices. Perhaps you want the warmth of a terrazzo floor or the quiet intensity of an exposed concrete wall. Our role is to guide you through these decisions, ensuring that what we build is technically sound and visually resonant. We do not work from templates. Every home is a unique response to your personality and the site.

From the initial 3D massing models to the final site supervision, we stay involved. We coordinate with engineers to make sure the structural bones support the beauty of the finishes. Whether it is a weekend retreat in Alibaug or an apartment renovation in Mumbai, we invite you to look closely at the corners, the edges, and the joints. That is where the real life of a house resides.
