Drum Circle Facilitator Training & Certification
This is where rhythm becomes a language for leadership. From our flagship 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' intensive to therapeutic workshops, explore how we train facilitators to build community and spark joy through the djembe.
Imagine leading a group like this, feeling the collective energy as everyone connects through a shared beat. This is the power of facilitation, bringing people together outdoors to create something beautiful. This is what we train you to do.
In this clip from my TEDx talk, I explain the concept of entrainment. It's the natural phenomenon of synchronization, and it's the magic ingredient in every drum circle. Understanding this is key to becoming an effective facilitator.
Don't just take my word for it. Listen to Sushil, who was already facilitating drum circles before he took my course. He shares how our intensive training helped him learn in seven days what would have taken him two years on his own.
This is a snapshot from our 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' training. You can see a student facilitator taking the lead, guiding the group. Our course is hands on, giving you real practice in a supportive environment.
The joy of completion. Here is our graduating batch of 2025, holding their certificates and their djembes. This week long journey is intense, but the sense of accomplishment and community you leave with is incredible.
I wanted to speak to you directly about why this training is so important. It’s about more than just fun; it’s about learning an art form to create positive change and uphold the quality of this work. I hope you'll join us.

About Featured
Our 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' training is not just a drumming class. It is a 7-day intensive designed to give you the confidence to lead drum circles for schools, offices, or communities. You do not need to be a professional percussionist to start; we focus on facilitation mechanics, vocal cues, and group management, ensuring you have the tools to create real, positive change from day one.
When we started Taal Inc., our goal was to make rhythm accessible to everyone. Our training programs are built on the belief that everyone has a rhythm inside them. Whether you are a teacher, therapist, or HR professional, you don't need professional music experience to lead these circles. Intent beats experience.
Why Our Training Works
We host these intensives at Artsphere in Kalyani Nagar. The curriculum is rigorous, spanning 63 contact hours over 7 days, but the atmosphere is open and supportive. We cover the technical aspects of facilitation, body language, and how to read a room, but more importantly, we focus on holding space. You will leave with the tools to handle any group, from corporate teams to special needs circles.
Beyond the Basics
For those looking to take their practice into clinical or high-stress environments, we also host 'Rhythm 2 Recovery' workshops. These are evidence-based, focusing on the therapeutic aspects of music. We bring in global experts like Simon Faulkner to ensure you get the best, most authentic training available in India today.
My guru, Mamady Keïta, taught us that the djembe knows no borders. Our goal is to ensure that the work you do is rooted in that same tradition of respect and deep knowledge. It is not just about the beat; it is about the community you build.
