About Advanced Training: Rhythm 2 Recovery & Retreats
These programs are for those who are already in the field, including therapists, educators, and active facilitators. We move beyond general drumming and focus on the technical mechanics of using rhythm for therapeutic outcomes and advanced group leadership, ensuring you have the evidence-based tools to support social and emotional health.
When you have mastered the basics of holding a drum circle, the next step is understanding how to direct that energy for specific outcomes. This is where our advanced training tier comes in.
Rhythm 2 Recovery (R2R)
This is an evidence-based model we bring to India in partnership with Simon Faulkner. It is designed for professionals in health, education, and community development. You do not need to be a musician to participate. Over these two intensive days, you will receive a 100-page manual filled with 65 structured exercises that you can apply immediately in your practice. We cover everything from trauma-informed rhythmic interventions to behavioral support. You leave with a certification from R2R HQ and lifetime access to over 100 training videos, giving you a complete framework to address grief, loss, and social connection.
Facilitator Retreats in Goa
For those who have already completed our 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' course or have established facilitation experience, we host an annual retreat in Goa. This is not a standard workshop. We keep the group focused on peer learning, advanced rhythmic concepts, and deep listening. It is a space to chisel your skills, observe different leadership styles, and engage in the kind of honest experience-sharing that happens best when you step away from the daily grind. We look at the subtle, vital inner shifts required to hold space for groups effectively. The retreat is application-based to ensure a collaborative environment where every participant is ready to contribute to the collective growth of the tribe.
