About Group Drumming & Rhythm Events
What Drives Us
I believe drumming is more than music - it's connection. That’s why at Taal Inc, we live for the joy of coming together and just letting loose. We call that feeling ‘Wassa Wassa!’ (Happy Happy!). You don’t need to be a musician, or even know what a drum feels like. If you’ve got a heartbeat, you’ve got rhythm.
What Happens at Our Events
Our facilitated drum circle experience is totally beginner-friendly. I show up with a bunch of West African djembes and we start with a simple beat. In no time, the whole group is making music together. Age? Doesn’t matter. Experience? Nope. All you need is an open mind.
Why People Drum With Us
- Want a fun way to bond with your team? We use rhythm-based team bonding to break the ice, ease stress, and get everyone working together - minus the cheesy games.
- For families and friends, it’s pure masti (mad fun). Birthdays, anniversaries, or any get-together turns into a memory when we drum together.
- Our open drum circles are for the community. Everyone’s welcome, whether you want to chill, heal, meet new people, or just try something different. No pressure.
What Makes It Special
I learned from my guru, Mamady Keïta, that the djembe has no borders. For us, drumming is about healing, freedom, and remembering that we can make something beautiful together. Anta! (Let’s go!)

My Story
Hey, we’re Taal Inc. – started by Varun, who swapped psychology for the djembe after it blew his mind (and heart). Our roots go deep, thanks to Grandmaster Mamady Keïta’s blessings. The djembe’s not just an instrument, it’s got spirit, history, and a knack for breaking barriers. We see kids, elders, total strangers, all grooving together. Making new drums feels like Diwali फटाका (firecracker) for us. Taal Inc. is a tribe, not just a company. Wassa Wassa! Happy Happy!
My Work
All-In Drum Experiences - We run corporate drum circles, West African djembe workshops, rhythm ensembles, junk percussion, wellness sessions, and facilitator training.
Community Drum Circles - No skills needed, just show up. We supply drums. Age, background, doesn’t matter. Come find your sewa (joy) and connect.
Traditional Djembe Classes - Learn djembe the West African way, straight from Mamady Keïta’s curriculum. Classes in Baner and Kalyani Nagar for all.
Event Drumming - Birthdays, weddings, office events – we bring the drums and energy. No circle? We’ll improvise, guests will remember it.
Rhythm Facilitator Training - Our 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' course teaches you how to use rhythm for real change, not just for show.
