7-Day Drum Circle Facilitator Certification
Curriculum & Training
- Total Duration: 63 contact hours (Sunday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
- Certification: "Find Your Inner Rhythm" (FYIR) Certificate of Completion.
- Modules: Covers facilitation mechanics, body language, vocal cues, and audience management for corporate or special needs groups.
- Practicum: Includes supervised "Student Drum Circles" to facilitate live groups.

- Equipment: Professional West African Djembe provided for use during the course.
- Resources: Printed comprehensive facilitator handbook included.
- Environment: AC Studio setting with mixed seating options.

2-Day Therapeutic Rhythm & Recovery Workshop
Specialized Instruction
- Expert Lead: Direct training by Simon Faulkner (Director, Rhythm2Recovery Australia).
- Duration: 16 hours of specialized therapy training (2 Days, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM).
- Credential: Internationally recognized Certificate from Rhythm2Recovery HQ.
- Focus: Trauma informed rhythmic interventions and behavioral support (No musical skills required).

About Rhythm Facilitator Training & Certification
I’m Varun, and with Taal Inc, I’ve learned that playing an instrument is one thing, but leading a group through rhythm? That’s another game altogether. It's less about just hitting the drum, more about connecting people, building energy, and holding space where everyone feels seen. When we say 'Come. Drum. Be One.', we mean it.
What Happens in Training
- My flagship is the Find Your Inner Rhythm program. It’s a week-long, full-on, certified course.
- You get all the nuts and bolts for running drum circles yourself.
- We cover how rhythm can break barriers with all sorts of groups - schools, offices, communities.
- You’ll practice actual drum circle leadership skills, right there with real groups, not just classmates.
- Not a pro drummer? Doesn’t matter. I’ve trained plenty who never touched a djembe before. Listening and connecting matter more than speed or chops.

My Story
Hey, we’re Taal Inc. – started by Varun, who swapped psychology for the djembe after it blew his mind (and heart). Our roots go deep, thanks to Grandmaster Mamady Keïta’s blessings. The djembe’s not just an instrument, it’s got spirit, history, and a knack for breaking barriers. We see kids, elders, total strangers, all grooving together. Making new drums feels like Diwali फटाका (firecracker) for us. Taal Inc. is a tribe, not just a company. Wassa Wassa! Happy Happy!
My Work
All-In Drum Experiences - We run corporate drum circles, West African djembe workshops, rhythm ensembles, junk percussion, wellness sessions, and facilitator training.
Community Drum Circles - No skills needed, just show up. We supply drums. Age, background, doesn’t matter. Come find your sewa (joy) and connect.
Traditional Djembe Classes - Learn djembe the West African way, straight from Mamady Keïta’s curriculum. Classes in Baner and Kalyani Nagar for all.
Event Drumming - Birthdays, weddings, office events – we bring the drums and energy. No circle? We’ll improvise, guests will remember it.
Rhythm Facilitator Training - Our 'Find Your Inner Rhythm' course teaches you how to use rhythm for real change, not just for show.
