We believe curiosity is the engine of growth. At Svadhyaya, our approach prioritizes the path of discovery over the outcome, creating a space in Jayanagar where adults and children learn side by side.

This statement captures the essence of Svadhyaya. We focus on the process of learning and the joy of exploration, creating an environment where the journey of self-discovery is valued more than the final outcome.

We believe curiosity is the engine of growth. This image of children freely painting on a shared table, with the words "Curiosity > Judgement," illustrates our commitment to creating a non-judgmental space for creative and personal exploration.

Wonder is a powerful tool for learning that we encourage over any feeling of shame. Here, a child's painted handprint symbolizes the freedom to make a mess, experiment, and learn through hands-on, sensory experiences without fear of getting it wrong.

We encourage asking deep questions rather than seeking simple answers. This scene from a block printing activity, with various tools and materials laid out, represents how we provide the resources for exploration and let individuals discover their own path forward.

My role as a coach is to offer guidance, not ready-made solutions. This small clay sculpture, carefully crafted, is a metaphor for how we support you in shaping your own answers and building your own resilience from the ground up.

A key learning from our work with children is to embrace their natural resistance as a guide. This illustrated note explains our principle of throwing out the lesson plan and following the child's lead, a flexible approach we apply in our coaching to honor individual needs.

We empower individuals by providing options, which fosters a sense of agency. As this graphic shows, this method always leads to new perspectives for both the learner and the facilitator, making our process a truly collaborative exchange of wisdom.

About Our Guiding Principles

We do not believe in strict lesson plans. If a child or an adult I am coaching feels resistance, we pivot immediately. Whether it is in a 1:1 life coaching session or a pottery class, I have found that throwing out the planned structure to address what is actually happening in the moment leads to much deeper, more authentic results.
