Meet Bhavana, our founder and an ICF Certified Coach. She guides our vision with a deep commitment to creating a values-driven learning space for the community.
This is Nikhil, our rock climbing enthusiast and facilitator. He expertly teaches bouldering to children at Svadhyaya, instilling courage and focus with every climb.
We are happy to have facilitators like Veena on our team. With her experience across a wide array of art mediums, she has a unique ability to engage with kids and bring out their creativity.
About Meet Our Facilitators
Learning is not about top-down instruction here. When you join our workshops, you are not just dropping your child off with a teacher; you are trusting them with mentors who prioritize curiosity over rigid technique. We keep our groups small so our facilitators can genuinely listen, adapt, and build confidence in every child, whether they are navigating a math puzzle or climbing our bouldering wall.
At Svadhyaya, we believe that education happens in the space between 'I don't know' and 'Let's find out.' Our team is not a group of instructors standing at a whiteboard. Instead, they are partners in exploration.
We recruit facilitators based on their passion for their craft and their ability to stay curious. Whether it is an art session focusing on natural pigments, a STEM workshop exploring circuitry, or a bouldering session designed to build grit, our team ensures the process stays joyful.
How We Facilitate
- Listening First: If a child resists a task, we do not force it. We pivot, we observe, and we adjust our approach to match their natural rhythm.
- Small Group Focus: By maintaining low ratios, our mentors provide one-on-one attention, allowing children to move from basic concepts to advanced applications at their own speed.
- Shared Experience: You will often find our facilitators learning alongside the children. We value mistakes as much as successes, creating a safe environment where your child feels comfortable trying and failing.
Our Jayanagar space brings together specialists from diverse fields, but we are all united by the same mission: to create a community where curiosity thrives.
