A bit about our founder, Sahiba Singh. She teaches contemporary dance, theatre, and dance movement therapy, with a focus on authentic expression and community building.
Sahiba believes that art is meant to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. Her work is women-centric and aims to make bold art accessible to all.
When the founder casually checks on the class, everyone knows she's about to drop a new move. Sahiba is always hands-on, sharing her passion directly with the students.

About this collection
Our facilitators at Flux do not just teach steps or lines. They create a container for you to experiment with your own expression, whether that is through contemporary dance or improvisational theatre. Our mentors, including founder Sahiba Singh and veteran theatre artist Avinashi Singh, focus on meeting you exactly where you are, stripping away performance anxiety to help you find your genuine voice.
At Flux, the guides you meet are partners in your artistic journey. We view education as a two-way street where we learn from our students as much as they learn from us. Our teaching team is built around diverse expertise. Avinashi Singh brings three decades of experience in theatre, radio, and television, offering a depth of perspective that bridges traditional arts with modern practice. Sahiba Singh, our founder, weaves dance movement therapy, contemporary dance, and creative writing into a syllabus that prioritizes somatic awareness over rigid choreography.
Why this matters is simple. Whether you are walking into our Indiranagar studio for an aerial yoga class, a theatre workshop, or a fitness session, you are walking into a space designed for safety. We keep our batches intimate, usually between 10 to 15 people, because we want to offer real-time feedback. You will not find machines here. You will find sprung wooden floors, natural light, and a group of people who are genuinely interested in your growth. If you are looking for contemporary dance in Bangalore or theatre improv classes that focus on empathy rather than just performance, our team is here to walk that path with you.
Flux School of Arts
Sahiba started Flux to create a space where everyone belongs, regardless of skill level. We are a community of artists and movers, with mentors who care as much about your personal growth as your physical technique.
