Welcome to our rooftop home in Jayanagar. It is an open, flexible environment purposefully designed for curiosity, where children and adults learn, climb, and create side-by-side.

Our rooftop space is a hub for community gatherings. Here, families come together for storytelling sessions, workshops, and shared learning experiences under the open sky.

An overhead view of an art session on our rooftop. We use low tables and mats to create a grounded, communal atmosphere for children to create side-by-side.

The rooftop is a dynamic play area where children can swing, build, and create. It's a space designed for freedom of movement and imaginative exploration.

At Svadhyaya, age is just a number. This video captures the beautiful interactions between adults and children as they learn, play, and explore together in our mixed-age environment.

Our little helpers were the heart of this project. Children were involved in every step of building our space, from painting walls to assembling equipment, making it truly their own.

Our bouldering wall is a central feature of our space, inviting children to challenge themselves physically and mentally in a safe and supportive environment.

A wide view of a community event on our rooftop. The space easily transforms to host everything from active play sessions to quiet, focused group activities.

The open-air design of our rooftop allows for plenty of natural light and fresh air, creating a refreshing and inspiring setting for our art and craft workshops.

About A Tour of Our Space

You will notice our rooftop is far from a standard, rigid classroom. We designed it with a custom bouldering wall, open-air zones, and versatile workstations so your child is never stuck behind a desk. Everything here—from the clay stations to the tire swing—is built to encourage tactile, messy, and real-world exploration rather than academic perfection.
