Our approach to a Shayari Mehfil is built on the foundation of a 'roohani safar' (spiritual journey). We combine live, traditional instrumentation like the harmonium, tabla, and sarangi with vocal performances that bridge the gap between ancient Sufi wisdom and modern sentiment.
We start our sessions with a focused selection of verses, carefully chosen to ground the audience. These are not just recitations but stories that lead into our musical sets. As the atmosphere deepens, we transition into soulful Sufi fusion and ghazals that encourage the crowd to slow down, listen, and connect.
For larger celebrations, we can shift the energy from the quiet, introspective start of a Shayari night into high-energy Bollywood tracks, ensuring the rhythm matches the progression of your event. We travel with our full ensemble of 10 artists, including our lead vocalist Alish Mohan, to ensure the sound quality remains pure and resonant. We ask that venues provide the standard sound support (PA speakers, monitors, mixers) so we can bring our specific blend of Indian and western instruments to life for your guests.
