I weave traditional Urdu shayari and soulful melodies together to create a true mehfil experience. It is the stories between the songs that make your event feel personal and deeply connected.

A moment of pure musical devotion with the timeless ghazal, "Aafreen Aafreen". I always begin with a short shayari to set the mood, a tradition from my Rampur Sahaswan Gharana training, before diving into the soul of the song.

A performance that starts with a poignant sher about love and betrayal before transitioning into the song "Biba Sada Dil Mod De". This blend of poetry and music creates a powerful narrative.

I believe music is more powerful when woven with poetry. I often start a song like "Kive Mukhde" with a heartfelt "Sher Arz Kiya Hai", blending Urdu shayari with soulful Sufi music to create a truly unique and captivating performance.

Here is a special sher for the audience before starting the classic "Halka Halka Suroor". These poetic introductions are a signature part of my mehfils, creating an intimate connection with the listeners.

"Arz Kiya Hai". A little bit of light-hearted shayari about 'sharab' to entertain the guests before a musical performance. It's all about creating a fun and engaging atmosphere.

A live performance that begins with the beautiful lines "Chain Tumse Hai, Qarar Tumse Hai". Starting with shayari like this sets a romantic and soulful tone for the rest of the evening.

"Husn ko Chand, Jawani ko Kamal kehte hain". A short, classic couplet to begin a musical piece. This is a glimpse into the traditional mehfil setup of our "Sufiyana Shaam" performances.

About Mehfil-e-Shayari: Poetry in Performance

A true mehfil is not just about the songs; it is about the silence and the stories between them. When I perform, I use traditional Urdu shayari to set the mood for each track, whether I am singing a classic ghazal or a popular Sufi number. This approach creates an intimate connection with the audience, making the performance feel like a personal conversation rather than a standard stage show.
