Behind the Scenes: How We Craft Our Sufi Fusion

Every song we perform starts here, in our jam room. We experiment with rhythms and blend Bollywood beats with raw Sufi soul to find the perfect sound for your event.

A sneak peek into our jam session. This is where the magic happens, where raw melodies and soulful 'surs' come together. You can see me on vocals, with our drummer and bassist locking in the groove for a qawwali practice.

Another glimpse from our jam room, capturing the synergy of the band. Here you can see our flutist, bassist, and other members working together to build a song from the ground up. This is the heart of our musical journey.

About this collection

We do not just pick a setlist. Our process starts by identifying the mood of your event—whether it is a high-energy Sangeet or a quiet, soulful Mehfil—and then layering our arrangements. In these sessions, we decide which instruments like the sarangi or tabla will ground the performance, and how we can transition smoothly into those high-tempo Bollywood hits you want to dance to. It is all about finding that balance between the spiritual roots of our music and the celebration you are hosting.

Behind every performance is hours of collective preparation. Our ensemble—featuring harmonium, tabla, guitars, drums, and flute—needs to be perfectly synced. When you book us, you are not just getting a band; you are getting a 10-piece team that has spent time working on these specific arrangements. We discuss the flow of the night, the Shayari to bridge songs, and the transition from soulful Sufi poetry to high-energy dance tracks.

Since we bring a live band with a specific set of requirements, we always recommend discussing the tech rider early on. We need a solid sound system to do justice to the nuances of our instruments. Whether it is a private Delhi wedding or a corporate gig across India, this preparation ensures that when we walk on stage, the sound is balanced, crisp, and ready to get your guests moving.
