Unlike a DJ or a canned playlist, this is live music that feels personal. Whether it is a trio with a tabla player or a solo set, I focus on the 'mehfil'—that intimate, connected atmosphere where the poetry and the melody actually matter, not just the volume.
Music is storytelling at its core. In these sessions, I dive into the classics—everything from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s powerful qawwalis to the timeless ghazals of Mehdi Hassan and Jagjit Singh. For intimate gatherings or cozy house concerts, my solo acoustic set works best, bringing the raw emotion of the lyrics to the forefront.
If you want something with more body, my Unplugged Trio is designed to add that rich, rhythmic depth. With vocals, guitar, and live percussion (Tabla or Cajon), we create a sound that fits perfectly for a Sangeet or a sophisticated cocktail evening in Delhi NCR. I treat the stage as a sacred space, so you get no autotune or backing tracks here. Just live, raw, and interactive music.
