About Brand Storytelling & Creative Direction
When I work on brand storytelling, I start with the 'why' before we ever pick a fabric. For this campaign with Studio Nirjara, we didn't just plan outfits; we mapped out the lighting and the exact interaction between the models to get that soft, intimate feel. It is about more than the clothes; it is about the narrative.
Building a brand identity is rarely just about looking good. It is about creating a feeling that sticks. When I step into the role of creative director, my goal is to translate your brand philosophy into a visual language that feels honest.
Whether we are shooting a lookbook in my Santacruz studio or on location across Mumbai, I look at the big picture:
- The Moodboard: We define the aesthetic. Is it vintage-inspired with a modern twist? Is it minimalist and sharp? We set the tone here to ensure the concept is clear.
- The Team: A great image is a team effort. I coordinate with photographers, hair, and makeup artists to ensure the lighting matches the mood of the fabric. If the light needs to be warm and golden to bring out the embroidery, we plan for that.
- The Details: The small things like a fresh gajra or the way a hand rests on a shoulder change the entire narrative. These are the details I obsess over.
