Editorial Creative Direction & Visual Storytelling
I don't just pick outfits. I build visual worlds that tell your brand's story. From mood boards to final frames, let's make your imagery stick.
A moody, intimate shot from a fashion shoot for an Indian designer. The styling focused on the texture of the handcrafted dress, and the relaxed pose creates a quiet, contemplative atmosphere.
For this creative shoot, I styled a white linen dress with bold, black floral embroidery. The natural, rocky backdrop provides a beautiful contrast to the delicate sequin work, creating an earthy yet glamorous image.
An all-white look from a creative fashion shoot. The styling, featuring a structured top with dramatic, ruched off-shoulder sleeves, creates an ethereal and sculptural silhouette against the simple white backdrop.
A simple yet striking shot from a fashion editorial. I styled this olive green bodycon dress with statement earrings, using direct flash to create a bold, high-contrast look that feels modern and intimate.
This outdoor shoot features a color-blocked dress from a conscious fashion brand. The combination of earthy tones and soft pastels in the dress works beautifully with the natural setting, creating a serene and stylish image.
A throwback to a summer fashion shoot in New Delhi. I styled this vibrant ombré kaftan against the backdrop of historic ruins, creating a beautiful contrast between the modern, flowing garment and the ancient stone.
A creative shoot featuring a sequined floral dress. The model's pose and the outdoor setting give this shot a sense of freedom and movement, highlighting the texture of the dress in a dynamic way.
This triptych captures the 70s rock-and-roll aesthetic of an editorial shoot. I used a bold printed shirt and vintage-style sunglasses to create a distinct character, telling a story through a series of candid, film-like shots.
From a calendar shoot in the Bikaner desert. I styled a sheer black kaftan and ankle boots to create a dramatic, nomadic-glam look, using the vast, empty landscape as a powerful backdrop.
A dynamic, high-energy shot from an editorial photoshoot. The model is captured mid-jump in a metallic fringe dress, creating a feeling of celebration and movement that is pure fun.
About Creative & Editorial Storytelling
If you are worried about logistics, I have it covered. For editorial projects, I do not just show up to style. I coordinate the photographer, the hair and makeup team, and the set logistics, ensuring that what we mood-boarded is exactly what shows up in the final frame. My focus is on the narrative flow of the images, not just the clothes.
How I Approach Editorial Styling
Editorial shoots are about more than just looking good. They are about creating a narrative that stops a scroll. When I take on an editorial campaign, I start by deep-diving into your brand identity. Are we aiming for a 70s rockstar vibe, or is it a moody, abstract exploration of texture? We define that before a single garment is pulled.
The Process
- Concept Development: We start here. I plan the color palette, lighting references, and aesthetic direction. This ensures visual consistency across your lookbook or campaign.
- Styling & Sourcing: I source everything—from high-fashion couture to unique accessories—that fits the story. My goal is to make the product the hero without sacrificing the creative vision.
- Production & Execution: This is where the madness happens. Whether we are shooting on location in Delhi or in a studio, I manage the call sheets, the team, and the technical details like fabric falls and body language.
Why Storytelling Matters
In a saturated market, your brand needs a voice. Whether it is a gender-fluid campaign or a traditional festive lookbook, the styling should feel intentional. My clients trust me because I do not do half measures. I handle the logistics, so you can focus on the bigger picture. If you are ready to move beyond standard catalog shots and create imagery that leaves an impact, let's chat.
