When I style a legend like Zeenat Aman or Sushmita Sen, the goal is always to find the balance between their history and a fresh, modern narrative. We do not just dress them. We spend hours sourcing pieces from designers like Anita Dongre, then obsess over the smallest details, like the angle of a brooch or the weight of a necklace, to make sure the final look is pure magic. That is what makes a celebrity editorial feel real, not just like a costume.
Bringing a celebrity look to life is a massive team effort. For our premium campaigns, I bring a three-person team to handle everything from wardrobe logistics to inventory tracking for high-value items. It is not just about picking a dress. It is about building a visual story.
We start with a moodboard to define the narrative, then I reach out to my network of Tier-1 designers and fine jewelers. Whether it is an edgy look for a magazine cover or a regal, timeless ensemble for a brand campaign, I pull three times the options needed to ensure the perfect fit on set.
Post-shoot, the work continues with inventory checks and courier returns within a 24 to 48 hour window. It is hectic, it is coffee-fueled, and sometimes it is chaotic, but when I see the final shot come together, when the vision we planned in my studio finally looks back at us, it is worth every single second.
