It is always humbling when my work gets a nod from the media. Here is a look at some of the features that have highlighted my recent styling projects.

So thrilled to see the Heeramandi premiere look I styled for Ahsaas Channa featured in Harper's Bazaar as one of the "7 Red Carpet Looks We're Simply Obsessed With".

TellyChakkar featured Ahsaas Channa's stunning saree from the Heeramandi screening as one of the looks that "Stole The Show". It's always amazing to see our vision appreciated.

Koimoi included Ahsaas Channa in their list of "Top 5 Saree Looks" from the Heeramandi launch, noting how the stars channeled their inner regal queens.

IWM Buzz did a lovely feature on the one-shoulder purple gown I styled for Ahsaas Channa, describing it as bold, elegant, and graceful.

Firstpost also named the Heeramandi saree look as one of the "5 Stunning Saree Looks" from the event, highlighting its timeless elegance.

Another feature from Urban Asian on the "5 Stunning Saree Looks from Heeramandi Screening". It’s an honor to have my work consistently featured.

About this collection

When my work gets featured in publications like Harper's Bazaar, it feels like a real win for our process. It is never just about the final image on the red carpet, but the weeks of sourcing fabrics and the intense, high-pressure fittings that finally allow the look to hit the mark with both the talent and the press.

Beyond the Red Carpet

Seeing these features in outlets like Firstpost, TellyChakkar, and Koimoi is a reminder of why I started Style by Kayal. It is easy to look at a photo and see a completed outfit, but there is so much more happening behind the scenes. Whether I am working with Ahsaas Channa for a major film premiere like Heeramandi or handling a private commercial shoot, the goal is always to create something that feels intentional and authentic.

The Collaborative Process

These press features often focus on the specific elements of a look—the silhouette of a gown, the choice of traditional textiles, or the way we channel a specific aesthetic—but for me, they represent the collaboration. It takes trust. My clients trust me to take their vision and turn it into a moment that stands out, even when the clock is ticking or the venue is crowded.

Why This Matters

Getting this kind of recognition is a great validation, but it is ultimately about the impact. When a reader sees a saree look featured as one of the best of the night, it confirms that our styling choices resonated with the audience. I am grateful for every publication that has shared my journey, and I look forward to creating many more of these moments.

I live for the days when the vision on my mood board actually comes to life and makes an impact. It is incredibly humbling to see those moments recognized by the press, especially after all the coffee, chaos, and late-night planning that go into every single look.
