A red carpet look is only as good as the safety kit backing it. For every premiere or gala, I don't just show up with the clothes. I arrive with a full emergency kit—fashion tape, extra pins, and sewing supplies—to handle any wardrobe malfunction before you even hit the step-and-repeat.
The truth is, red carpet styling is rarely about just picking a dress from a rack. It is a mix of chaos, strategy, and obsession with the details. Whether you are walking a premiere in Mumbai or representing on a global stage, my process starts long before the event day.
My Approach to Red Carpet Styling
- Concept & Mood Boarding: We start by defining the narrative. Are we going for classic Hollywood glamour, or something edgy and modern? I build a visual theme that ensures your look is cohesive and impactful.
- Sourcing & Customization: I liaise with top designers to source options, but if the perfect look does not exist, we build it. I have created custom gowns from scratch under tight deadlines, ensuring the fit is absolutely precise.
- The Fitting: We do a dedicated trial session to finalize fit, jewelry, and accessories. This is where we catch the small issues—a strap that needs tightening or a hem that needs adjusting—so you feel confident and secure.
Event Day Execution
When the big day arrives, my team and I handle the logistics so you can focus on the camera. My standard service includes a 4-hour on-site slot for steaming, taping, and securing the outfit. We handle everything from the safe return of borrowed designer items to managing your wardrobe during the event. Whether it is an award night or a movie screening, I am there to ensure the focus remains on you and your look.
