Furniture should not just fill a room; it should be part of the home's architecture. We design and craft unique pieces—from Channapatna-inspired lacquer work to modular shelving—that balance function with a distinct identity.

This four-poster bed was custom designed with a lacquered wood frame inspired by Channapatna crafts. The clean lines and bold color make it a modern heirloom piece that tells a personal story.

A living room in the 'Ikigai House' featuring a hand-painted mural on the wall panels. This collaboration with a Thangka artist turns the architecture itself into a canvas, embedding art directly into the fabric of the home.

This modular shelving unit in the 'House of Skye' was designed with teak posts and birch ply shelves. The boxes can be rearranged, allowing the clients to adapt the display as they collect new objects and memorabilia.

These nesting coffee tables, with their lacquered, colorful bases, are another nod to Channapatna toy craft. They are custom-designed, functional sculptures that add a playful touch to the living room.

The dining area of the 'Ikigai House', featuring a custom-designed table with a stone top and solid wood base. The suspended brass shelving unit behind it is another bespoke piece, designed to feel light and airy.

This bunk bed and study unit was designed and built to maximize function in a compact room. The staggered teak steps leading to the upper bunk cleverly conceal storage for games and books.

A custom-designed bathroom vanity in fluted wood with a terrazzo countertop. Every detail, from the cabinet pulls to the proportions, is carefully considered to create a cohesive and highly functional piece.

About this collection

When we design a piece, whether it is a four-poster bed or a dining table, we coordinate directly with our makers to select the specific grain of teak or the exact shade of lacquer. This means your furniture is not just custom-sized; it is engineered to integrate seamlessly into your space, often serving multiple functions like a bunk bed that doubles as storage or a shelving unit that adapts to your growing collection of objects.

Our approach to furniture begins with a dialogue. Rather than sourcing ready-made items that dictate how you live, we create pieces that adapt to your daily rhythms. We work extensively with wood, particularly teak and birch, pairing them with materials like fluted glass, rattan, and hand-painted murals to ensure each item is a permanent feature of the home's architecture.

Material Integrity and Craft

We believe in materials that age well. You will often see us using in-situ terrazzo, which provides a seamless, stone-speckled base, contrasted against the warmth of wood joinery. Our furniture pieces, such as the Channapatna-inspired four-poster beds or modular shelving units, are fabricated by local craftsmen who understand the logic of the assembly. This ensures that every joint, hinge, and lacquer finish is built to last.

Integrating Art

Beyond function, we see furniture as a canvas. In many of our projects, we collaborate with muralists and artists to embed art directly into the fabric of the room. Whether it is a hand-painted panel in a living area or a custom study nook mural, these additions ensure that your home does not feel like a showroom, but rather a reflection of your personality. If you are looking for design that moves away from standard modular boxes and towards a more textured, tactile living experience, we are here to help.
