Signature Interior Design Projects
A look at our design philosophy in action, where light, natural materials, and craftsmanship converge to create living spaces.
This living space from the 'House of Canopies' in Bangalore is the heart of the home, designed to dissolve the boundaries between inside and out. The double-height ceiling and expansive glass walls frame the lush garden, while the polished concrete floor reflects the changing light, creating a serene, open atmosphere. It's a clear expression of my passion for tropical modernism and creating homes that breathe.
In this Mumbai apartment, I designed these transformative sliding teakwood panels to create flexible living areas. The panels feature hand-painted art by a Thangka artist, depicting flamingos over wetlands, turning a functional divider into a stunning, movable mural. This is how I make spaces that can adapt to your needs, whether you're seeking openness or intimacy.
A bold, sculptural statement, this helical staircase in magenta provides a vibrant counterpoint to the home's otherwise earthy and restrained material palette. Positioned in the central court, it is not just a way to move between floors but a piece of art that energizes the entire space.
For the 'House of Skye' project, I designed this bunk bed to be more than just a place to sleep; it's a compact, multi-functional unit for a child's room. The design integrates a play nook below and hidden storage within the slatted rubberwood steps, making it a smart and playful solution for maximizing space.
This living room in Mumbai was designed to capture the breathtaking panoramic view of the city's skyline and the sea. The interior palette is kept soft and luxurious to complement, not compete with, the view, creating a tranquil sanctuary high above the bustling city.
These pivoting screens, crafted from rattan and teak held in a delicate brass frame, are a signature element in my 'Houses by a Park' project. They serve as elegant, permeable partitions that define spaces like the living and dining areas while maintaining a sense of lightness and connection to the central pebble court.
The kitchen in the 'House of Skye' showcases my love for materials. A custom in-situ terrazzo waterfall counter acts as a breakfast island, seamlessly connecting to the reclaimed teak herringbone floor. This junction of textures and patterns is where I believe a space finds its unique character.
About this collection
Every space showcased here is the result of a long conversation, not just a set of blueprints. Whether it is the bold magenta spiral staircase or a bunk bed designed to double as a child's play nook, our focus remains on how materials meet. We do not just furnish a room; we work with artisans to create custom elements like hand-painted Thangka panels and cast-in-situ terrazzo that feel physically and visually connected to the life lived inside them.
Our work relies on a process of stitching stories together. We avoid standard, off-the-shelf solutions, preferring to engage directly with specialized craftsmen to build furniture and finishes that define the home.
Materiality is the foundation of our approach. We have a deep passion for honest, tactile textures like teak, birch, and rattan, often paired with the cool finish of in-situ terrazzo or exposed concrete. These materials are chosen not just for their aesthetic, but for how they age and interact with light within your home.
We also prioritize adaptability. You will see this in our use of sliding, pivoting, and folding partitions crafted from teak and fluted glass. These elements allow a room to shift from an open, social layout to a private, cozy sanctuary depending on your mood or time of day. We believe homes should not be static boxes, but fluid environments that change with you.
Finally, we advocate for indoor-outdoor living. By incorporating verandas, large windows, and landscaped courts, we try to dissolve the boundaries between the home and the world outside. If you are looking for design that feels grounded, intentional, and uniquely yours, we invite you to look closely at these details.
