Pottery is the ultimate screen-free zone for families. Whether you are trying the wheel together or hand-building plates, you do not need to be an artist to have a great time—you just need to show up. We handle the firing and glazing (your pieces will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks), so the only thing you need to focus on is the conversation and the chai.
At Studio Hands InClay, my goal is to provide a space where families can actually slow down. We have hosted three generations around the same table, all focused on the simple, grounding act of working with clay. It is the perfect antidote to a busy week.
Why families love our sessions
- No Experience Required: Most people who walk through my door are total beginners. I guide you step by step, so even the youngest member can create something they are proud of.
- Bonding over Creation: Whether you are crafting a platter, a coffee mug, or a personalized leaf-imprinted tray, the process encourages laughter and conversation. It is a fantastic way to reconnect.
- The Full Process: You are not just 'playing with mud.' You create your piece, and I take it through the necessary drying, bisque firing at 900°C, and glaze firing at 1200°C. This makes your work durable, waterproof, and food-safe. Your masterpiece will be ready for collection in about 3 to 4 weeks.

- Location: We are based in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. Our balcony studio offers a peaceful view, perfect for watching the sunset while you work.
- Inclusions: We provide all materials, tools, and aprons. Just bring your open mind—paani aur mitti se darna nahi hai (don't fear water and mud).
- Customization: From Mother's Day specials to weekend family outings, I can tailor the hand-building techniques (pinch, coil, slab) to suit your family's dynamic and creative goals.
