You don’t need to be an artist to start here. My studio is all about 'paani aur mitti se darna nahi hai' (don't fear the water and mud). Whether you are trying the wheel for the first time or hand-building a memory, I guide you step-by-step so you walk out with a creation you actually love.
Pottery here is a digital detox. Located on my balcony in Ghatkopar, with the rhythm of passing trains and greenery, it is a quiet corner in the middle of the city. We do not chase perfection here. We chase connection.
Whether you are looking for a Claydate to reconnect with your partner, a space to host a kid's birthday, or a team-building event for your colleagues, the goal is the same: to slow down. I have had everyone from grandparents and toddlers creating together to corporate teams swapping laptops for lumps of clay.
What you can expect:
- No experience needed: Most people who walk through my door have never touched clay. That is the best part. I will show you how to center the clay, pull walls, or use slab techniques for hand-building.
- The 'Messy' Magic: We use premium stoneware clay. Yes, you will get messy. That is the fun part. Aprons, tools, and all materials are provided.
- Take it home: After the session, your creation stays with me for the drying and firing process (bisque and glaze). It becomes food-safe and waterproof, usually ready for collection in 3 to 4 weeks.
It is not just about the mug or bowl you make; it is about the hours you spent just being. No screens, just clay and good conversation.
