At Studio Naadi, every project begins with a conversation and a sketch. This collection offers a behind-the-scenes look at our methodology, where rigorous site analysis and conceptual diagrams transform into lived environments.

This masterplan for the 65-acre TVS Electronics campus shows the redesign of roadways to allow for future expansion. This new roadmap helped define spillover spaces to be developed as parks and plazas, enhancing the overall landscape.

This architectural section of the 'Kodial Cove' residence illustrates the internal volumes and spatial relationships. The design accommodates a workshop, library, and music room, all while maximizing light and creating a connection to the outdoors.

This backyard landscape for the Nilaya Residence was designed to make a steeply sloped site accessible and appealing. Tiered levels with stone stairways lead down to thoughtful seating spaces, creating a serene setting.

The front yard of the Nilaya Residence radiates a mix of regional charm and colonial beauty. A terracotta-accented cobblestone pathway guides the eye towards a Mother Mary statue, creating a calm focal point.

For this property in Mangalore, I created expansive party spaces that showcase the site's vastness. The design stays true to the rich context of Mangalore while adding a touch of contemporary style.

This design for a 1-acre property in Mangalore embraced existing coconut trees and managed the site’s levels. A stunning Mother Mary statue is framed by the home’s classic columns, creating a harmonious blend of colonial charm and modern elegance.

My preliminary method is to brainstorm and start with scribbles on paper, which are then developed into clearer sketches. This concept for a plaza at TVS Electronics shows a common gathering space with green cover and stone sculptures.

About Our Design Philosophy in Practice

Before any foundation is poured, we dedicate significant time to rigorous site analysis. We map sun paths, wind directions, and existing ecology to ensure the building responds to its environment rather than fighting it. For projects like our TVS Electronics campus masterplan, this meant assessing 65 acres to preserve native flora while creating functional movement paths. We believe that when you understand the land's specific constraints, the architectural form naturally follows to serve both the site and its inhabitants.
