Dancing with fire is a conversation with Agni. Experience the intensity and grace of fire poi, silk fans, and palm torches, all grounded in a practice of mindful movement.

Trial by fire. There's an intensity to spinning fire snakes that is unlike any other prop. The way they hiss and roar through the air is both thrilling and meditative.

I got these palm torches a year ago, and as a new mom, finding time to flow with them has been a challenge. This session was a moment I carved out for myself, a way to reconnect with my fire.

I received these new palm torches when I was 8.5 months pregnant. Even though I was on a break from performing, I couldn't resist dancing with them. The design is both beautiful and safe, allowing me to move without worry.

This was my last fire spin before taking a break for a few months, and I was 8 months pregnant. It was an impromptu fire jam, and I'm so grateful so many people came to share the energy. It was a beautiful, memorable night.

Which is your favorite prop? This video showcases four different fire and LED props I use in my performances. Each one has its own unique energy and creates a different visual experience for the audience.

Small space, smaller terrace, but we are just grateful to be flowing together. This is a partner fire poi session with my husband. Sharing the flow with someone you love is a special kind of magic.

Our hearts speak the same language. Another fire poi duet where our movements intertwine. It takes a lot of practice and communication, but the result is always worth it.

About The Art of Fire

Mastering fire isn't about rushing into the flames; it’s about preparation. Before we ever light up, we focus on grips, plane control, and posture using practice props. This way, when you do hold the flame, your muscle memory takes over, allowing you to focus on the dance rather than worrying about the mechanics or safety.

Fire flow is more than just a spectacle; it is a way to find stillness in the chaos. When I spin fire, I’m not just performing; I’m engaging in a moving meditation that requires absolute presence and respect for the element of Agni.

The Gear and The Craft

Whether it’s the roar of fire poi, the precision of LED-pixel hoops, or the delicate dance of silk veil fans, every prop has its own personality. In my sessions, we don't just jump into the fire. We talk about equipment quality—like using professional-grade, insulated palm torches that protect your hands while you dance. I share the 'how-to' on everything from heat-resistant clothing to the technical logic of water mills and hip reels, ensuring you have the foundation to move safely.

Why Practice Matters

There is a beauty in the process. As a mom, my training often happens in short, quiet windows on my terrace. I believe in 'simple moves done well.' It is better to have clean lines and consistent timing than to rush into complex tricks. If you are looking to book a performance for an event, festival, or private party in Bangalore, my sets are designed to blend high-energy visuals with that grounded, meditative flow.

If you are a student, we will start with practice gear to build your confidence. My goal is to make the learning process fun, accessible, and free of the pressure to 'get it right' immediately. Whether you want to master a specific fire prop or just need to move your body to shake off stress, we will find your rhythm together.
