My Journey as an Athlete

Before I was coaching, I was competing. Basketball taught me the grit, discipline, and physical demands that I now use to build every training program. My own journey on the court informs the systems I build for you today.

After six years away from competitive play, I returned to the court for a tournament. Basketball built my foundation as an athlete and now informs my work as a coach.

All smiles on the basketball court. The joy of the game never leaves you, and it's a feeling I try to bring to my training sessions.

A throwback to my college basketball days in 2014, going up for a layup in a competitive game. These are the moments that fueled my passion for sports performance.

Another photo from my first year playing for St. Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC). The intensity and focus required in sport are lessons I carry with me today.

About this collection

My training style is informed by years of competitive basketball, where I learned that elite performance is rarely about raw effort, but about precise biomechanics and intent. When I coach you, I analyze your movement patterns with the same scrutiny I applied to my own game-day transitions. Whether you are aiming for explosive power on the pitch or injury resilience, I apply the same 'athlete-first' framework I used during my own playing days to ensure your hard work translates directly to results.

I don't just tell you to push harder because I have been there; I show you how to push harder because I understand the science of movement. My playing days at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce were a masterclass in the necessity of speed, agility, and recovery. That competitive period taught me that grit is useless without a plan. That is why I do not offer generic workouts.

Every program I build is grounded in the principles of sport science. If we are working on your cricket bowling velocity or your badminton footwork, we are using data, not guessing. I integrate Velocity-Based Training (VBT) to monitor your bar speed in real-time. This allows us to autoregulate the intensity of your sessions based on how your body is actually performing on that specific day, rather than following a rigid paper plan that ignores your fatigue levels.

My approach is split into three core pillars:

  • Movement Audit: We start by assessing your mobility and identifying asymmetries so we don't build strength on a faulty foundation.
  • Sport-Specific Power: Whether you need linear speed for track or change-of-direction for field sports, we prioritize compound lifts and Olympic variations like the snatch and clean to develop explosive power.
  • Long-Term Resilience: High performance is unsustainable if you are injured. My programming includes dedicated mobility and recovery protocols to ensure you can stay in the game for the long haul.

You are not just signing up for a gym session. You are signing up for a system that treats your athletic goals with the same seriousness I applied to my own competitive career.

I’m Snehit. I spent years on the court, which is where I learned that talent needs a structured, scientific path to show up on the scoreboard. I am here to bridge that gap for you, so you can stop guessing and start performing.
