Presenting at an INSCA conference on the application of Olympic lifting across various sports. My goal in these sessions is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical, on-the-floor coaching, providing other coaches with actionable, evidence-based strategies.
Hands-on guidance is a cornerstone of my mentorship. Here, I'm working with a coach during a CSCS practical workshop, focusing on precise technique and execution. My approach is collaborative; we discuss, question, and refine movements together.
I am proud to have earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with Distinction from the NSCA. This reflects not just a certification, but a deep commitment to ongoing education and contributing to the profession, a principle I instill in the coaches I mentor.
A group photo from one of my CSCS practical workshops in Bengaluru. I believe in creating a strong community of learners where coaches can network, share challenges, and grow together in a supportive environment.
The work doesn't stop with theory. This is me putting principles into practice with a heavy sumo deadlift. I believe that to teach effectively, a coach must also be an athlete, constantly testing and refining the methods they advocate for.

About Professional Development for S&C Coaches

I work with S&C coaches who want to move beyond the usual textbook stuff and actually connect science with what happens on the gym floor. For me, it's never just about collecting certificates - it's about understanding why you do what you do, and creating a space where learning never stops.

What I Bring

  • MSc in Performance Coaching and a bunch of hands-on experience from NSCA, ASCA, and more.
  • Special focus on Speed, Workload Management, and Velocity Based Training (VBT).
  • I still attend workshops myself, so whatever I share, I’ve tested it out in my own practice.

How We Grow

  • My S&C mentorship program isn’t a top-down lecture - we discuss, question, and figure things out together.
  • I run deep-dive sessions (both group and 1-on-1) on stuff like advanced periodization models, biomechanics, and data-driven coaching.
  • If you're prepping for the CSCS practical exam, I offer hands-on workshops in Bengaluru where we focus on nailing the lifts and technique.

What To Expect

  • Everything is rooted in evidence-based coaching for strength coaches - no gimmicks, just what actually works.
  • We’ll talk through programming, injury management, and using tools like Power BI for data.
  • I’m here as a mentor, sounding board, and fellow learner.
  • This isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing. You bring your context, your challenges, and we build from there.

If you’re serious about becoming a better coach, you’ll probably vibe with this approach.

My Story

Basketball was my jam before I ever thought of coaching. It taught me grit, and I still carry those lessons. After six years off the court, I jumped back in for a tournament—just had to pay my respects to the game. Balance is key, though. My friends are fam; one’s been around since we were six! If it’s Sunday, I’m probably chilling at Cubbon Park with my dogs or catching up at a brewery. That’s how I roll.

My Work

Athlete Coaching & Remote Training - I coach athletes, especially cricketers, plus offer remote programs. Always science-backed, like Velocity-Based Training.

Workshops for Strength & Conditioning Coaches - I run biomechanics workshops for aspiring coaches, sharing evidence-based conditioning and real talk from my own journey.

Teaching & Mentoring - Teaching fires me up. I learn as much as I teach—love seeing students grow and get curious.

Leading by Example - I’m grinding in the gym myself. Hit my 200kg deadlift. I’m on the same path as my athletes.
