About Strength & Conditioning for Athletes
What I Do
I help athletes turn potential into real performance. My job isn’t about chasing Instagram-perfect lifts, but making sure you see results on the field, track, or court. I mix science with sweat – you’ll always know why we’re doing a drill, not just how.
Training Approach
- Every plan is built on biomechanics, sport science, and how your body actually works, not just gym trends.
- We train for strength, explosive power, and actual sport skills. I use a lot of compound lifts, unilateral work, and advanced stuff like Complex Training.
- If you’re into cricket, football, track or even badminton, I tweak everything to fit your sport. For cricketers, I focus on things like power hitting, bowling stride, and fielding speed.
The Details
- You’ll learn Olympic lifting basics (think snatch, clean) to boost your jumping and sprint speed. For some, this is the game changer.
- I use velocity-based training for performance – tracking bar speed to make sure you’re not just pushing weight, but moving right. This means less guesswork, more results, and less chance of burning out.
- We periodize your training so you peak when it matters. No one-size-fits-all plans here.
Who It’s For
Anyone serious about getting better – youth athletes, pros, or those stuck at a plateau. I’ve got extra experience with cricketers, but I work with all kinds of field sport athletes.
Your journey is your own. I just help you get there, at your pace.

My Story
Basketball was my jam before I ever thought of coaching. It taught me grit, and I still carry those lessons. After six years off the court, I jumped back in for a tournament—just had to pay my respects to the game. Balance is key, though. My friends are fam; one’s been around since we were six! If it’s Sunday, I’m probably chilling at Cubbon Park with my dogs or catching up at a brewery. That’s how I roll.
My Work
Athlete Coaching & Remote Training - I coach athletes, especially cricketers, plus offer remote programs. Always science-backed, like Velocity-Based Training.
Workshops for Strength & Conditioning Coaches - I run biomechanics workshops for aspiring coaches, sharing evidence-based conditioning and real talk from my own journey.
Teaching & Mentoring - Teaching fires me up. I learn as much as I teach—love seeing students grow and get curious.
Leading by Example - I’m grinding in the gym myself. Hit my 200kg deadlift. I’m on the same path as my athletes.
