Inspiration & Imagination: How We Concept Architecture

Architecture begins long before the first stone is laid. Here, we document the fragments of history, travel, and technology that spark our next projects.

An AI-generated exploration for a communal library space in a hostel, imagining a multi-level atrium with integrated greenery and views of the city.

"Portals of Latur," a video montage of the diverse and beautifully decorated doorways we discovered during a visit to Latur, each telling a unique story.

A video glimpse into locations that excite us, like the historic and rugged landscapes of Hampi and Latur, which inspire our future designs.

A collage of AI-generated images exploring different configurations for a dynamic, multi-level communal space filled with books, light, and nature.

Another AI render imagining a central, tree-filled atrium surrounded by stepped seating and library stacks, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors.

About this collection

When we document a weathered doorway in Latur or generate communal library concepts with AI, we aren't just collecting visuals. We are dissecting how light hits a threshold and how space dictates social interaction. We apply this same research-led rigor to every project, whether you are building a boutique hotel or a restorative workspace, ensuring that every layout is tested against real-world human needs before construction begins.

The Research Phase

We believe that a building is only as good as the inquiry that precedes it. Before we draw a single floor plan, we immerse ourselves in the context. This cluster documents our search for design logic—sometimes in the rugged, historical landscapes of Hampi or Latur, and sometimes in the simulated potential of AI-generated environments.

How We Use Inspiration

  • Learning from Vernacular Logic: We don't copy old doors or windows for nostalgia. We study them to understand climate-responsive design. By analyzing traditional 'jharokhas' and courtyards, we learn how to manage ventilation and light without over-relying on air conditioning.
  • Simulating Possibilities: Technology like AI allows us to test complex spatial configurations—like multi-level atriums or light-filled library stacks—before committing to a structural path. It helps us visualize how a space will feel when filled with people and greenery.
  • Translating Observations into Blueprints: Every observation here—from the texture of stone to the flow of a corridor—eventually feeds into our master planning and interior design work.

If you have a site and a vision, we approach it the same way. We start by listening to the site's story and using our design methodology to craft a space that is as durable as it is beautiful.
