Yoga for Women's Health Workshops in Mumbai
Specialized Sunday yoga sessions addressing PCOD, menopause, and hormonal health. Led by Shraddha with a focus on therapeutic anatomy.
A look inside our Sunday workshop on women's health. We cover everything from hip-opening asanas to pranayama techniques that help soothe the nervous system, creating a holistic practice for issues like PCOD, menopause, and menstrual discomfort.
About Yoga for Women's Health
We don't do generic flows here. Shraddha leads these Sunday sessions with a strict focus on anatomy, teaching you exactly how to target the pelvic floor and regulate hormonal flow. Whether you are navigating PCOD, menopause, or general menstrual discomfort, we break down the 'why' behind every posture so you can practice safely and understand your body's response.
Beyond Standard Asanas
Many women come to us after finding little relief in general fitness classes. Standard yoga sequences often ignore the specific physiological needs of the female body during different life stages. Our workshops are designed to bridge that gap. We focus on therapeutic alignment and breathwork that supports the reproductive and endocrine systems rather than just burning calories.
The Anatomy-First Approach
Shraddha brings years of experience in working with women's health issues. In our Sunday intensives, we don't just show you how to move; we explain which muscles are engaging and why.
- Pelvic Floor Stability: We use specific asanas to strengthen and release the pelvic floor, which is foundational for managing PCOD and menstrual pain.
- Hormonal Balance: Our pranayama sequences, including specific kumbhaka (retention) techniques, are selected to calm the nervous system and manage the stress that often exacerbates hormonal imbalances.
- Safety First: We keep our batches small (10-15 participants) to ensure every student gets individual attention. This is critical when dealing with therapeutic yoga—proper alignment is the difference between healing an injury and aggravating one.
What to Expect
These are not drop-in classes. They are structured, 2-3 hour intensives. You will get:
- 30-45 minutes of detailed anatomy theory so you understand what you are doing.
- Supervised practice with hands-on adjustments to correct your posture.
- A community of women navigating similar challenges.
We provide all necessary props like bolsters, bricks, and straps to help you access poses safely, regardless of your current flexibility level.
