Running is more than movement. It is a way to clear the mind, reflect, and find rhythm in the quiet stretches of a morning trail.

One of my most memorable running experiences was this 20k run up a beautiful mountain to the feet of Lord Shiva in Namchi. It was a run that started with transcending thoughts and ended in a state of pure, zoned-out bliss.

A 10km run in the beautiful city of Belgaum. The cool weather, canopy of trees, and a light drizzle were too tempting to resist. It's a runner's paradise.

About Running as Reflection: Scenic & Mindful Miles

Most runners chase speed, but I suggest you look for the rhythm in the quiet. Whether we are training at Cubbon Park or exploring a new trail, we use the 80/20 principle here. This means 80% of your training should be low-intensity, conversational-pace running, which is exactly how you can turn a 10km route into a meditative experience rather than a struggle for breath.
