A look at our MRC running family in action. We focus on perfecting form and understanding recovery to ensure we can all run for life. The goal is sustainable fitness, and the guidance is tailored for every runner in the group.

A typical morning with the Runners360 tribe at Cubbon Park. We started with a sweat-inducing workout and then spent time sharing stories and experiences. Coaching is a two-way street; I learn as much from my runners as they do from me.

The beautiful Bangalore weather is a privilege we don't take for granted. This is the 5:30 am vibe, where our runners show up to put in the work, doing burpees, planks, and other strength exercises that build a resilient running body.

Heel pain is a common issue for runners, so we focus on prevention. In this session, I'm guiding the group through deep squats and heel raises to strengthen the soleus muscle, a key component for injury-free running.

This was our final training run before the Bengaluru Runners Jatre. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and a few race-day jitters. We used this session to fine-tune our last-week preparation and build confidence together.

This is an invitation to join our community. An announcement for our final Jatre training run, where I led the session at HSR Layout. These events are open to everyone, a perfect way to embrace running and meet the tribe.

About Group Training: The Tribe Vibe

Our group sessions are not just about clocking miles. We focus on the 'how' of running: proper mobility drills, activating key muscles like the soleus to prevent common issues like heel pain, and training at a sustainable intensity. You will be training alongside a diverse group of runners, all guided by our structured warm-up and cool-down routines at locations like Cubbon Park, HSR Layout, and Kanteerava Stadium.

Running is often a solitary activity, but training is better together. Our tribe provides the consistency and accountability that solo runners often lose. When you join our group sessions, you are not just getting a training plan; you are getting eyes on your form, hydration support on long runs, and a community that celebrates every finish line, not just the podiums.

The Science Behind Our Sessions

We follow the 80/20 principle. Most of our training is at a low intensity, allowing you to build a massive aerobic base without the burnout or injury risk of constant high-effort running. We layer this with:

  • Mobility & Activation: Before we hit the pavement, we prep the joints and muscles to handle the load.
  • Strength Integration: We incorporate core and glute work to keep you resilient.
  • Mindful Cool-downs: Essential for nervous system regulation and recovery.

Practical Details

  • Locations: We hold sessions at Kanteerava Stadium, Cubbon Park, and HSR Layout.
  • Structure: 3 to 4 weekly guided sessions covering mobility, tempo workouts, and long runs.
  • Support: Full hydration stations during weekend long runs and pacing guidance from experienced runners.
