Running saved my life when I needed it most. It is not just about the miles; it is about finding your own truth. This is how I went from 120kg to running marathons.

This post shares a part of my story, from cycling 40km a day as a child to dealing with family tragedy and severe depression. Running became my way to channel pain into purpose.

My journey wasn't linear. After losing weight, I faced a spinal cord injury from an accident. But with the right help and a focus on strength training, I was able to return to running stronger than before.

This collage represents different chapters of my life, from my early running days to celebrating podiums with fellow runners. Each picture is a reminder of the path I've walked and the people who have been part of it.

From starting Runners360 with just three people to guiding over 150, my story is intertwined with the growth of our community. We also came together to support charitable organizations during the pandemic.

"The more you're tested, the more you become." This quote resonates deeply with my journey. The challenges I faced have shaped me as a person and as a coach.

"Those who look out there, dream. Those who look inside, awaken." Running in the quiet morning hours in Lalbagh gives me time for this inner work, to reinforce my values and grow as a person beyond just being a cricketer.

"Your outer journey may contain a million steps; your inner journey only has one: the step you are taking right now." A quote from Eckhart Tolle that perfectly captures the mindful presence I find while running on a quiet, open road.

Sometimes you need to slow down to reflect on what truly matters. This run was a moment to appreciate the gifts I already have and listen to what my mind, body, and heart need.

About The Journey Within: My Story

My transformation wasn't just about willpower; it was about the 80/20 training principle and learning to listen to my body after a severe spinal injury. When you train with me, we don't just chase speed or medals. We build a sustainable aerobic base so you can run for life, injury-free.
