Behind the Scenes of Professional Photo Shoots
The final image is just the result of a long process. Here is the technical craft, the lighting setups, and the collaboration that happens on set before the shutter clicks.
Just being a photographer isn’t enough. This BTS clip comes with my thoughts on the industry, brand collaborations, and why you have to learn to do more than just shoot.

About The Process: Behind the Scenes
When I work, my setup is designed for real-time collaboration. I shoot tethered to a laptop so you see exactly what I see instantly. This is not about hoping for a good shot; it is about seeing the light and composition come together live on screen, allowing us to tweak poses or gear before the final frame is even captured.
Every shoot I lead is built on a foundation of technical preparation. Whether we are using an optical snoot to shape light or setting up a Fresnel lens for high-contrast drama, the goal is precision. I do not believe in fixing it in post. My team and I build the image in the studio, starting with the lighting and moving into talent direction.
Clients often ask why I focus so heavily on the technical setup. It is simple. When you understand how light interacts with skin, fabric, and texture, you stop guessing. We work with tethered capture on set, meaning you see the high-resolution files on a monitor in real-time. This eliminates the 'wait and see' anxiety. You are part of the creative process, making decisions on mood and composition alongside me.
My 'pitara'—a collection of lights, gels, and lenses—comes with me to every location. It allows me to improvise on the fly, transforming a plain space into a controlled set. If you are looking for someone to just click and walk away, I am not your guy. If you want a creative partner who treats your campaign like a personal art project, let's talk.
