Blending early 2000s tech aesthetics with modern editorial fashion. We create nostalgic, high-contrast imagery that stands out on any feed.

A full-on Y2K-inspired magazine cover. We incorporated retro gadgets like the Sony Walkman and a Pentax 645 camera to build a world of nostalgic futurism.

A mock ad campaign for the classic Nokia N90. This shoot blends a modern, edgy fashion look with the iconic tech of 2005, creating a fun, retro-inspired concept.

A behind-the-scenes style shot from our Y2K series. The model is posed with my actual studio lighting, blurring the line between the photoshoot and the final image.

Using a mirror on the floor, this shot creates a disorienting, gravity-defying pose. The reflection and the Y2K styling give it a cool, futuristic feel.

A detail shot focusing on the props. The headphones and the model's pose are key elements in building the retro-tech aesthetic of the "Connecting People" series.

A close-up portrait from the Y2K series. The soft lighting and the model's relaxed expression provide a contrast to the more graphic, ad-style shots.

A composite shot creating a twin effect. This technique, combined with the brown-toned, minimalist styling, is a direct nod to the fashion photography of the early 2000s.

About this collection

To nail this look, we don't just throw on retro clothes. I combine modern, high-res capture on the Sony Alpha 1 with specific lighting rigs to recreate that classic 2000s glossy aesthetic. Whether it is sourcing vintage tech props or handling the composites in post, my team ensures the final output feels authentic to the era but sharp enough for today's screens.

The Y2K aesthetic is more than just a filter or a wide-angle lens. It is about capturing a specific energy, and that requires precise control.

When we shoot these concepts, I often integrate tech like the Nokia N90 or vintage Walkmans to ground the shoot in that 'Connecting People' era. We use a 3-point Profoto setup or complex light shaping to ensure the images don't just look like a throwback, but like a high-budget editorial campaign.

My production process is intense. We shoot tethered to a laptop, which allows us to check focus stacking, catchlights, and composition in real-time. Once we move to post-production, I handle the heavy lifting. I use frequency separation for that clean, commercial skin texture and meticulous color grading to nail the brownish, cool-toned palettes that define the era. If you need a twin effect, motion blur, or specific graphic layouts for a magazine cover, we plan it during pre-production. This is not about guessing; it is about building a world that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.
