About Commercial & Advertising Photography
What I Do
I’m Shreyans Dungarwal, and for me, commercial photography isn’t just about clicking pictures. I treat every shoot like a mini-art project, whether it’s a beauty product photoshoot or an editorial campaign photography job. I chase that one frame that feels right, and I won’t lie - some days are a grind, but that’s what keeps it interesting.
My Style & Approach
Light is everything. I geek out over it, whether I’m in a studio with fancy strobes or shooting on the street with whatever’s available. That’s how I get the crisp, polished look you see in my creative brand storytelling work. The difference between a quick snap and an image that makes people stop scrolling? It’s all in how the light hits.
What I Shoot
- Brand campaigns, jewellery, fashion, Y2K vibes, surreal concepts - you name it.
- Beauty & cosmetics shoots, with setups that make skin and products pop. Eyes and product - bas wahi focus hai (that’s the focus).
- Editorial and conceptual stuff that sometimes blurs reality. If you want AI elements mixed with high fashion, I’m game.
How I Work
I act as creative director, not just photographer. I guide talent through poses, and my ‘killers’ team (stylists, makeup, tech) helps pull off the wildest concepts. After the shoot, I handle all the high-end commercial retouching myself, so every image matches the vision we started with.

My Story
I’m Shreyans. If you train with me, you’ll never be anyone’s assistant again. I want people with guts, with hunger, not scared to mess up. I’ve mentored folks who now run the show—real leaders. My own path’s been wild: Tokyo, New York, LA, Mumbai. Sometimes I’m chasing light in Kamimeguro, sometimes lying on a Colaba street listening to the rain. Plans change, magic happens. Style takes time, don’t rush. Keep at it.
My Work
Fashion, Commercial & Jewellery Photography - I shoot fashion campaigns, beauty editorials, and jewellery advertising—always pushing for something fresh.
Obsessed With Light - I geek out over technical lighting setup—think optical snoot or just chasing natural catchlight on the street.
Directing With Vision - I guide models with clear direction—mean looks, attitude, chin down. It’s a team effort, always.
Improvising On The Go - One light, five lights, whatever works. Could be a studio or Mumbai street, camera or phone—doesn’t matter.
