Behind the Scenes: My Shoot Workflow
I don't believe in just snapping photos. Here is the high-energy, collaborative process my team and I use to craft every frame, from concept to final export.
This is where the magic happens. A behind the scenes look at my process, surrounded by my gear. It’s not about rush or drama; it’s about carefully crafting the light, mood, and intention to get that perfect shot.
A glimpse of an outdoor campaign shoot in progress. My team and I are setting up the shot with a large diffuser to control the natural light, ensuring the perfect lighting for the scene.
Reviewing the shots on the laptop is a crucial part of the process. Here, my team and I are checking the images on location to make sure we've nailed the vision before moving on.
A wide shot of the team at work during an indoor shoot. It shows the collaborative effort involved, with stylists, assistants, and co-photographers all focused on creating the final image.
The prep work is just as important as the shoot itself. Here, the hair and makeup team gets the model ready on set, ensuring every detail is perfect before she steps in front of the camera.
A candid moment of the team briefing before a shoot. Collaboration and clear communication with my crew are key to bringing a creative concept to life.

A short video showing me on the move, camera in hand, always searching for the next shot. It transitions to a final black and white image, connecting the process to the result.

About The Process: On Set
We always shoot tethered to a laptop, which means you see exactly what the sensor captures in real-time. There are no guessing games or hoping for a fix in post-production. We review, tweak the lighting, and adjust the angle until the shot is perfect right there on set.
It is rarely a solo show. When you see the intensity on set, that is my team in full flow. We use the Fujifilm GFX 100 to pull out extreme detail, but the tech is just the start. Whether we are working on a high-fashion editorial or a commercial product campaign, we operate in 8-hour shifts built for momentum. My crew, including stylists, makeup artists, and assistants, work with me to maintain that 'chal, chal, ek aur' (come on, come on, one more) energy. We are not here to rush; we are here to get the narrative right. If we are on location, we scout virtually before we even touch the gear. If we are in the studio, the lighting setup is dialed in specifically for your brand story, not just generic stock looks. You get real-time access to the proofs as we shoot, keeping you in the loop from the first frame to the final delivery.
