Just another day at work with my A-team. This video shows the flow of a studio shoot, from hair and makeup to me behind the lens and reviewing the shots as they come in.

About this collection
On every shoot, we set up a live viewing station with an Eizo monitor, allowing clients to see exactly what I see in real-time. It is not just about getting the shot; it is about making sure the client, stylists, and I are aligned on the texture, lighting, and mood before we move to the next frame. This transparency keeps everyone involved and ensures we catch those small details on set rather than fixing them in post-production.
The Reality of a High-End Shoot
People often see the final result on a billboard or in a magazine, but the real work happens in the hours before and after the shutter clicks. My photography is a synthesis of effort from stylists, digital technicians, and makeup artists.
My Collaborative Approach
I believe the camera is an instrument, but the team is the engine. In this gallery, you will see the flow of our production:
- Direction and Flow: Notice the moments where I direct models for composition and pose. It is about building a narrative, not just posing someone.
- The Technical Setup: Look at the lighting gear, scrims, and tethering stations. I use extensive Profoto lighting packages to sculpt the light, ensuring we create the right depth and mood for every frame.
- Raw Energy: From the chaos of an outdoor location shoot to the controlled environment of a studio session, we aim for a vibe that is fun yet deeply focused.
