About Aqua Sound Healing: A Floating Meditation
Sound moves five times faster in water, which means the vibrations from the seven crystal chakra bowls reach your nervous system more effectively. Instead of just hearing the sound, you feel the gentle ripples and frequencies wash over you, helping your body shift from high-stress mode to a state of deep, physical relaxation.
What to expect in a session
This isn't just a meditation; it is a sensory reset. In my 90-minute Aqua Sound Healing sessions at premium locations like Tatvam Villas, we use the natural conductivity of water to amplify the sound of crystal bowls and gongs.
We spend the first 15 minutes getting settled and setting an intention. The core of the session is 60 minutes of immersive sound, where you float on an inflatable mattress while I play instruments specifically tuned to your seven chakras. We focus heavily on the Mooladhara, or root chakra, which is where we store our base-level fears and stress. The final 15 minutes are dedicated to grounding, allowing you to re-enter your day with clarity.
