Boxing and Kickboxing Fundamentals in Bengaluru
Learn to strike with purpose, defend with confidence, and move with precision. Whether you are a total beginner or prepping for a competition, we build your technique from the ground up.
This is what it's all about: live sparring. We practice controlled striking drills to build reflexes, timing, and confidence. It’s not about hurting each other; it’s about sharpening our kickboxing and boxing skills together.
A powerful knee strike on the heavy bag. This kind of kickboxing drill is essential for developing power in your strikes. We spend a lot of time on bag work to build stamina and perfect our technique.
It’s not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep going. This boxing sparring session shows students practicing their defense and counters under pressure.
A look at a kickboxing class in session. The mirror helps students check their form while they practice. The quote on the wall says it all: "If you want to be a champion, you need to train like one."

This video shows a basic but crucial boxing drill for beginners: the parry and shell. The goal is to build reflexes and get comfortable defending punches before you start sparring.
Shadowboxing is where you perfect your technique. You have to imagine an opponent in front of you, practicing your footwork, head movement, and combinations.
About Striking Fundamentals: Boxing & Kickboxing
We don't just hit bags here; we train you to think in the ring. You will learn to manage your distance, time your counters, and keep your composure when the pressure is on. Whether you are working on your jab-cross or perfecting your mid-range movement, my focus is on making sure your technique is solid before we ever put you in a live sparring drill.
The Reality of Striking
In my classes, striking is about more than just throwing punches. It is about understanding the range, protecting your head, and using your body weight to generate power. We work on the heavy bag to build your stamina, but that is just the start. You will spend time on shadowboxing to drill muscle memory and partner drills to master the 'shell' defense. If you get hit, we fix the mistake, not punish you for it.
What You Will Learn
We break training down into three levels:
- Beginner: Focus on stance, balance, and basic defensive shells. You will get comfortable defending before you ever have to worry about attacking.
- Intermediate: Introduction to combinations, parrying, and mid-range counters. This is where you learn to turn defense into offense.
- Advanced: Live sparring prep, fight strategy, and competition drills.
