Move beyond the mat. Use the resistance and support of the Reformer, Cadillac, and Spine Corrector to improve your alignment and find strength in your own body.

I'm back! So excited to announce my collaboration with Pilates Design School in Kormangala, Bangalore. Here's a look at the beautiful new space and some of the equipment we'll be using.

A side plank variation on the Reformer. This exercise challenges stability and oblique strength, showing how the apparatus can add a new dimension to classic mat exercises.

A flowing sequence on the Cadillac. This apparatus is amazing for developing spinal articulation, flexibility, and control through a wide range of movements.

Using the Reformer to practice a full-body extension. This movement opens the chest and strengthens the entire back of the body, helping to improve posture and lift your mood.

Reclaiming my practice one day at a time on the Cadillac. The equipment provides support and resistance that helps reconnect the mind and body, especially after a period of rest.

A dynamic flow on the Wunda Chair and Spine Corrector. This video shows how different pieces of equipment can be used together to create a challenging and comprehensive workout.

Embracing all kinds of rolls on the Spine Corrector. This apparatus is fantastic for mobilizing the spine, improving flexibility, and releasing tension.

A late-night session on the Spine Corrector. This is a reminder that perfectionism isn't the goal; falling in love with the process of moving is what sets you free.

Throwback to 2018, finding that much-needed release on the Spine Corrector. This piece of equipment is my go-to for improving spinal health and mobility.

A standing towelwork session using the Spine Corrector for support. This shows how we can incorporate simple props to enhance stretches and challenge stability.

About Pilates on Equipment: Deeper Practice

Using Pilates apparatus like the Reformer and Cadillac isn't just about adding resistance to your routine. It is about how these machines provide tactile feedback, allowing us to find length and support where our own bodies might feel stuck. When we work on the Spine Corrector, for instance, we are not chasing a perfect shape; we are finding mobility in the areas of the spine that have been tense from desk work or old injuries. This is where movement starts to feel like a conversation with your own body rather than just a workout.
