This is where we build real-world power. Our turf track is set up for athletic conditioning with equipment like the power sled, agility hurdles, and cones to improve your speed and explosive strength.

The power sled and battle ropes ready for action on our turf track. These tools are fantastic for high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that torches calories and builds incredible stamina.

Our functional training corner is all about raw strength. Here you'll find the large tyre for flips, a plyo box for jumps, and other equipment for unconventional workouts that build the kind of fitness that matters outside the gym.

About Functional & Athletic Conditioning

Unlike machines that isolate muscles, our turf area forces your whole body to work together. We use the sled, monkey bars, and tractor tyres to build strength you can actually use in daily life or sports. Whether you are prepping for a competition or just want to be fitter, this space is designed for movement.

This is not a typical gym with shiny, unused machines. Our functional and athletic conditioning zone at Shaolin Taekwondo Academy is built for sweat and discipline. The indoor turf track is the backbone of this space, designed specifically for sprints, lunges, and high-intensity sled pushes that challenge your stamina.

We believe that true fitness comes from variety. You can combine traditional heavy lifting with functional movements like tyre flips and battle ropes to build explosive power. If you are training for sports, this is where you improve your speed. If you are here for general fitness, it is how you build a body that feels capable and ready for anything.
