Our cardio section includes these sturdy spin bikes. They are perfect for warming up, cooling down, or for a dedicated high-intensity cardio session to improve your cardiovascular health.
About Martial Arts & Cardio Area
This isn't just about running on a treadmill. Our matted zone is built for real movement—agility drills, footwork, and striking practice on the heavy bag. It is the same space where my athletes train for championships, so expect a focused environment designed for getting results, not just getting tired.
When I started Shaolin Taekwondo Academy in 2006, I wanted to create a place that produces fighters. This martial arts and cardio zone at our Kirari facility is an extension of that vision. While we have cardio machines like spin bikes for endurance, the heart of this space is the combat-ready matted area.
Why Train Here?
- Agility & Footwork: We use agility ladders and kick shields to improve your speed and coordination. It’s effective training for both martial artists and anyone looking to burn fat through high-intensity movement.
- Striking Practice: The heavy punching bag is available for those who want to release stress or learn basic striking technique.
- Functional Cardio: We focus on functional fitness. You won't find flashy TV screens or air conditioning, but you will find equipment that works.
I believe fitness is a habit, not a quick fix. Whether you are coming in for a quick cardio session or looking to integrate martial arts drills into your routine, this area is set up to support consistent, hard work. If you are serious about your training, this is where you start.
Shaolin Taekwondo Academy
I started this academy back in 2006 because I wanted a place that builds fighters, not just gym-goers. I’m Vijay Gupta, and my focus is on functional, real-world strength. Whether you're a complete beginner or training to compete, we keep it simple and effective.
