- No Hidden Fees: No charges for breed value; focus remains strictly on the match between pet and parent.

Why We Do This
At Second Home, I see every rescued dog as my own bachha (child). Our goal is simple: give every abandoned or abused dog a real parivaar (family), not just a roof. I believe in Adopt, Don’t Shop - the bond you get with a rescue is just different, raw and real.
Who We Rescue
Not gonna sugarcoat it - many come from rough backgrounds. Some are left on roads, hurt and scared, like Sky the Husky or Jessica the Golden Retriever who survived years of breeding. Others are simply surrendered because their humans can’t keep them. No matter the story, each one deserves a second chance.
Healing and Recovery
First step is always emergency medical care for rescue dogs. Many arrive sick or injured, sometimes fighting for their lives. We handle treatments, surgeries, grooming, even help them learn to trust people again. My own Rottweiler, Bhairava, donates blood to help others. It’s a full-on effort, but worth every minute.
Adoption & Matching
I’m picky about matches - forever home for abandoned pets is what matters. You’ll fill a simple form, we’ll chat, maybe meet at an adoption drive. Ghar ka mahaul (home vibe) matters as much as anything else.
Indies & Senior Dogs
Our Indian street dogs (Indies) have a khoobi (special quality) you have to see to believe - loyal, smart, and chill. Seniors? They’re calm, trained, and just want a bit of love. Don’t ignore them because of age - sometimes those last years are the best ones.

My Story
Log mujhe 'the dog dad' bolte hain, aur waise hi main hoon. Main Prakash. Dogs hi meri zindagi hain, chhe saal se zyada ho gaye. Main koi bada rescuer nahi hoon, par jitna ho sakta hai, karta hoon. Indie dogs alag hi level ke hote hain, itne disciplined! Duffy, Hector, Jessica - sabki kahani alag hai. Kabhi khushi, kabhi gussa, lekin sukoon milta hai. Main ladta rahunga, yehi meri life hai.
