Adoption & Medical Recovery Fee
Core Medicals
- Spaying or Neutering surgery completed prior to handover.
- Up-to-date Anti-Rabies and 7-in-1 (DHPPiL) vaccination records.
- Fresh deworming medication and tick/flea spot-on treatment.
- Vet-certified basic health checkup.
Process & Handover
- Physical home assessment visit to verify fencing and safety protocols.
- 30-45 minute behavioral briefing regarding temperament and integration.
- Exit grooming including hygiene bath, ear cleaning, and nail clipping.
- Legal transfer of responsibility paperwork.
Resident Dog Sponsorship
Usage of Funds
- Daily home-cooked meals consisting of rice, chicken, egg, and vegetables.
- Monthly supply of tick/flea preventives and deworming medication.
- Annual booster vaccinations.
- Contribution to staff wages for daily walks, play, and care.
Sponsor Benefits
- Scheduled visitation rights to spend time with the dog at the Mullur Road facility.
- Regular photo or video updates sent via WhatsApp.

For us at Petspace, dog adoption isn't a side gig - it's what keeps us going. Every rescue who comes to us gets treated like family, not just a number. We celebrate birthdays, share festival pujas (prayers), and basically shower them with all the love we can give. When a dog finally finds their forever home, it's a win for the whole pack.

Pre and post-adoption home checks are our way of making sure everyone settles in safe and happy - it’s not about judging, just supporting.

My Story
Started with just a wild idea, you know? We wanted dogs to feel at home, not stuck in some cold kennel. Now, 15 years in, we’re like family to so many pups. Comet, Roober – we’ve seen them all grow up here, tails wagging, hearts full. Diwali gets a little crazy with puja, flower malas, tikka on furry heads. We don’t just watch dogs, we love them like our own. Every dog’s got a story here.
