Why We Do This

Helping dogs isn't just a job for us at K9 Gurukul. It's our passion. We say #AdoptDontShop because each time a streetie or abandoned pet in Bangalore finds a real home, that's what keeps us going. It’s not always easy, but seeing a wagging tail in a new family makes it all worth it.

What We Actually Do

• We rescue dogs from the streets or tough situations and get them the care they need. Sometimes it’s a tiny puppy, sometimes a scared oldie, sometimes even purebreds left behind.
• Check our regular 'Adoption Alerts' for dogs needing homes. Every dog is vaccinated, dewormed, and you get the real picture about their health.
• If you lose your pet, we help spread the word to bring them back. It’s tough, but our local network means missing dogs get home faster.
• When there’s an emergency, like an accident or an abandoned dog, we step in fast and make sure they’re safe.

Adoption, the Right Way

We don’t do rushed handovers. I always chat with you first to see if the dog fits your lifestyle. If you adopt from us, you get all their medical records so you know exactly what you’re starting with. Our focus is on responsible dog rehoming, not just handing off dogs.
