Jessica was a senior Golden Retriever who had known nothing but a breeding cage before she reached me. Helping her settle in wasn't about quick training, it was about unlearning years of trauma and teaching her that not all humans are harmful. She didn't become this happy, 'chipku' dog overnight; it took months of consistent, gentle care to help her realize she was finally in a safe place.
When you look at Jessica today, it is hard to imagine the life she had before. Many people come to me looking for puppies, thinking senior dogs are 'damaged goods' or too set in their ways. Jessica proves that completely wrong. She arrived terrified, struggling to trust, but once she understood she was part of a parivaar, her personality just exploded. She is not just a pet; she is a senior dog who learned to play again.
