I believe in 'Adopt, Don't Shop.' Here are some of my bachhas looking for their forever parivaar and snapshots from our adoption drives.

Adoption Alert. This adorable brown and white Indie puppy is looking for a loving family. He is full of curiosity and is at the perfect age to be trained and socialized.

This little puppy is ready for adoption. With his soulful eyes and sweet face, he is sure to melt your heart. He is waiting for someone to give him a second chance at a happy life.

This is Rani, our little 'chipku' girl. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to be close to her person. We are hoping this sweet girl finds her forever home very soon.

About this collection

Adopting from me is about finding the right match, not just picking a pet. My process includes a mandatory lifestyle form and a home check because my only goal is to ensure these bachhas, who have already been through so much, go to a forever home where they will be safe and loved.

When you adopt from Second Home, you aren't just getting a dog—you are changing a life. Many of these dogs come from rough backgrounds, whether they were abandoned on the streets or surrendered by previous owners. My philosophy is simple: 'Adopt, Don't Shop.' The bond you form with a rescue is raw, real, and unlike anything else.

The Adoption Process

I don't believe in instant approvals. Before you bring a dog home, we go through a process:

  • Lifestyle Assessment: You fill out a simple form so I can understand your routine and home environment.
  • Compatibility Check: I look for a match between the dog’s personality and your lifestyle. Whether it's a high-energy Indie puppy or a calm senior Golden Retriever, the fit must be right.
  • Home Checks: A digital or physical check helps me ensure the space is safe and welcoming for the dog.

Who Are You Adopting?

You will find a mix of dogs here:

  • Indies: Smart, loyal, and incredibly disciplined. They are often the most misunderstood but turn out to be the best family companions.
  • Abandoned Breeds: Dogs like Huskies or Golden Retrievers who were failed by their previous humans. They need patience, but they give back ten times the love.
  • Seniors: Often the most overlooked, yet they are already trained and just need a quiet, loving corner to spend their golden years.

My goal is to make sure every adoption is permanent. I disclose all medical history and behavioral needs upfront so you know exactly who you are bringing into your life.
