Team Khordha: Competitive Powerlifting Coaching
This is more than a gym, it's a pack. We train together, compete together, and support each other like lions to dominate the platform.
My boys and girls ready to roar at the Junior National Powerlifting in Delhi. We are going for the team championship, nothing less.
A powerful picture at India Gate with my student and a strong opponent. We are competitors on the platform but brothers in iron.
One of my athletes standing proud in front of the Indian flag. We lift for ourselves, for our team, and for our country.
With my student, one of the strong girls of Ultimate Gym. I am proud to coach and develop young talent.
A moment of fun and flexing with the team after a hard workout. We grind hard, but we also enjoy the journey together.
With my student, the strong woman of Khordha district. Her success is my success.
The team at Ultimate Gym. This is our den, where we build our strength.
Posing with the team in front of our gym's mural. "Don't Forget To Hustle" is a motto we live by.
Another group shot of my dedicated athletes. The camaraderie here is as important as the weights we lift.
My team of lifters, a mix of seasoned competitors and upcoming talent.
About Team Khordha: The Lion's Den
Unlike gyms where you are left to figure out your own sets, I am right there on the floor at Ultimate Gym with you. Whether it is fixing your knee position or helping with competition-tight knee wraps, my team and I provide real-time, tactile feedback because we know a single technical error in the squat or deadlift can mean missing a national qualifying lift.
Joining Team Khordha means becoming part of a pack where every member is expected to show up, regardless of the day. We train at Ultimate Gym with a specific, minimalist setup—competition racks, stiff bars, and iron plates. There are no fancy machines or AC vents here, just the essential tools needed to hit PRs. We focus strictly on the Big Three: Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. My coaching methodology is hands-on; if you are prepping for IPF or state-level meets, I oversee your peaking macrocycles, weight cuts, and handle your attempts backstage. This environment is built for lifters who prioritize strength over aesthetics. If you are serious about representing Odisha on the national platform, you will find that we treat every training session like a meet day, ensuring that when you finally step onto the platform, the weight feels like nothing. Whether you are a junior athlete or a senior competitor, the brotherhood here is built on sweat, chalk, and the common goal of winning gold.
Sanjay Nayak
I’m Sanjay, and I don't train posers—I train shers (lions). My job is to push you through failure and get you podium-ready. If you have the fire to compete and want to be part of a real brotherhood of strength, let’s get to work.
